'The room was big and comfy - though, admittedly, the bathroom was small and awkward - the bed was fine and everything was clean. Breakfast was good. A poster reminding guests to switch off lights etc showed a commitment to the environment which I liked ( or a commitment to saving money on the fuel bill of course ). Most importantly, it was nice and quiet - though this may have been down to luck. All being well, and if I visit London again, I'll be staying here. I'd recommend it to anyone.'

'My wife and I stayed at Barry House October 17 to October 24. We stayed in Room 26. Yes the bathroom in the room was small but that is to be expected of a European abode. The bed was made every morning and the towels were changed out every day. Mr. Bhasin was very helpful in assisting us with our tourist arrangements. We ate the breakfast at the house the first morning but we had breakfast the next six days at a littel bistro down the street. Getting from the airport to the house was easy and getting from the house to the airport was easy. We plan on returning in two years with our kids to visit London and we will certainly stay at the Barry House.'

'Very nice place to stay--the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are clean, if a bit small, and the staff are very helpful. There were vacant rooms when I arrived, and so I was upgraded to a room with an en-suite bathroom at no extra charge. You might want to take note that the staircases are very narrow and a little on the steep side, which can make navigating with a suitcase a bit tricky.'

'+ The hotel is close both to Lancester and Paddington so its a good location. It is also a nice place to get away from the crowded areas u meet at all the tourist areas. The owners are very nice and helpful. The breakfast was good and u stayed at your table and they come with your breakfast. I think it was really good when u know that other guest dont touch all food u may get.Like in buffés where all are touching everything. - if u having trouble going in staires u might ask after lower floor before booking cause the stairs are pretty tuff. 'I stayed at Barry House with my 13 year old son recently for 4 nights. We stayed in one of the budget rooms which although small was clean and comfortable. It is based on the 4th floor but we knew that and the owner very kindly carried our bags up and down the stairs. The service at the hotel in particular by the owner was superb - friendly and very knowledgable and helpful .. The breakfast was lovely. Best of all it is centrally located 5 mins from hyde park and paddington. A very enjoyable stay I would def recommend this hotel all round.'

'Our stay could not have been more conveniently located. Less than 2 blocks from Paddington Station. Close to lots of restaurants and pubs, convenience stores, and an internet cafe. Also just 2 blocks from Hyde Park. We had a big window in our room with plenty of ventilation, a recently remodeled bathroom, and air conditioning. Only thing that could have made the room more pleasant would be new carpet and bedding. The room was clean, but not clean-freak clean. The owner saved us money on a tour and on a matinee show (we asked around). Breakfast was typical English and adequate. Would stay again.'
