'Got lost finding hotel but once there staff were friendly and informative about where to go for food etc. Room small but clean. Real bathroom unlike some hotels in London so that was good. Would go back.'

'We had two days here and the most lovely cosy en suite room and delicious breakfast. The staff were lovely too even though there was a little confusion about how many rooms they thought we had booked. Overall a delightful stay in a very romantic setting in Jesmond.'

'Stayed at the Jesmond for 2 nights with a total of 3 rooms between my family party of 5. Rooms/ensuite were spotlessly clean, very small, but ok for 2 nights, given we were not really spending anytime in the rooms. great location on Osbournce street for us to get to all the bars/restaurants we needed to. Full english breakfast was served promptly each morning, service and staff were all very efficient and friendly. All in all perfect for our purpose of needing to be in that area for a big family birthday. Would defintiely go back again - ok value for money.'

'Excellent accommodation for the price. Rooms comfortable and clean. Clean, quiet room. Breakfast was also excellent. Staff courteous. The Brasserie menu looked appetising and we would have eaten had we not had other pre-arranged plans. A couple of minor points - the shower water was not quite hot enough and the breakfast coffee would have been better with warm milk - but those were minor considerations in what was, overall, a pleasant stay. We would be very pleased to return.'

'I really enjoyed my stay at the Hotel. The room was very neat and had all the facilities I cherish most, i.e. table and chair for working on a laptop, great study lights, free internet connection and calm location for parking. The People I met were also very frindly and lest I forget the full English breakfast was very delicious. Such a high profile tidiness and friendliness require a great deal of hard work so please keep it up.'

'I have stayed at the Jesmond Hotel on a number of occasions now, and not once have I been disappointed with the rooms, the meals, the quality of the hotel, and more importantly the friendliness of the staff. For me, its the best hotel I have stayed at, the quality of service is best bar none!'

'We have stayed in a lot of hotels around the Country, many of which we wouldn't re-visit. But the Jesmond is one we have stayed in several times under the old and new management. It is clean, reasonably priced and offers good well presented food. The City centre, RVI and University are 15 minutes walk away. Metro stations within 5 minutes. It is on a main road in the heart of student land. We will be visiting again soon for a theatre break.'

'I stayed here for one night whilst visiting friends. I found the staff to be extremly friendly and the hotel was beautifully furnished and modern. We had a check in time of 12pm and when we arrived the room was not ready, which was slightly disapointing after having a confirmation e-mail sent through that it would be ready, however the staff offered us a cup of coffee in their lovely waiting area and the room was ready for us to check-in less than half an hour later, which was lovely to hear after a four hour train journey. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Newcastle for the night!'

'strongly recommend this small hotel ideally situated in Jesmond and close to the city centre and university. Clean well appointed but small room and excellent brasserie. Good breakfast service and 3 of us had an excellent well priced dinner one evening. Car parking permits provided which means good parking on a side road outside hotel.'
