'We had a very nice bedroom, with a big bathroom. The staff were very friendly. We enjoyed a wonderful three course dinner (seriously good, and it was excellent value), and the breakfast was also very good. We also would have liked to spend longer in the residents lounge, which we discovered just after breakfast on our last day. Plan to come back for a longer break in the future, as it was just about perfect in every way!'

'We booked the superior room, which was nicely furnished and obviously recently updated, with view out onto the park. Breakfast was delightful (the black pudding is worth a return journey alone!) and the staff were extremely helpful in ensuring everything was perfect. The hotel is situated on the edge of town with ample parking, so there is an easy escape route to all the nearby tourist attractions, once you have exhausted those within walking distance of the city centre that is!'

'The staff were very professional and downright now. The breakfast was delicious and gave us all the needed energy to start the day. The only thing I had a small issue was that when we arrived in the room, there wasn't any toilet paper. But the excellant staff quickly resolved that issue.'
