'Nice hotel and staff, although rear emergency rather noisy at night (most clients unaware of problem, as did not read notice.) Room doors a bit noisy at night bcos they are fire doors; perhaps a polite note on the doors to close discreetly at night and in the morning might help to mitigate problem. Bar the above, very pleasant stay - will hope to be back next year with some more friends from the East Kent CTC.'

'I have stayed here at least annually for the last six years and always find it very clean; breakfast very good; with friendly proprietors and staff. Situated within walking distance of town centre and transport facilities, but far enough away to be quiet. The attic room has excellent views of the Solent and Portsmouth from the window both day and night. I would and have recomended it to others.'

'Very comfortable stay. Pleasant, clean, spacious rooms - could even see the sea! Hotel is in a quiet part of town so no noise to disturb you at a night, but it is near enough to the town, bars, food emporiums etc to be convenient. Smooth and quick checking in. 'Pleasant, clean and friendly B&B. Good value for the price we paid for 2 nights in March. My only little criticism is that the bath mat wasnt very useful (a thin slip of paper!) and sausage at breakfast wasn't very pleasant. Overall good value for money. Would stay again.'
