'I stayed here for 2 nights as part of a week long tour of Cumbria for work, and it was amazing! Although I had very little chance to explore the surrounding area the views were beautiful, the bed very comfy and the breakfast delicious. The owners were very nice and even got up early to make me breakfast, as I had to leave before the usual time. Very convenient for the station, lovely pub just down the road for food and Kendal just a pleasant 20 minute walk. Would love to stay again, when not working!'

'I stayed here with my teenage daughter in a twin room and received a very warm welcome. The room was lovely, the owners provide a selection of DVD's you can watch on the tv in your room along with books etc. There is a pub literally 5 mins walking along the road that does a lovely meal. Breakfast was yummy and served with a smile. Wonderful! :o)'

'Extremely welcoming and very comfortable.Was given an upgrade on my room from single to double which was a complete surprise. The room was spotlessly clean. Every effort has been made to make the guest comfortable and the little luxuries were perfect both in the bedroom area and bathroom. The only downside was that I was only able to stay for one night.Very convenient for Oxenholme Railway station. Have already recommended to others.'
