'Arrived in pouring rain to a very warm welcome from Mandy for whom nothing was too much trouble, already she had put an extra plug in radiator in our room, just in case we were cold and swiftly produced a hot jug of coffee, the evening meal was excellent as was the full Welsh Breakfast when we were lucky to have sunshine after the mist had cleared to view the river flowing swiftly past the end of the lawn we could see the fantastic views from all the windows before reaching for our camera's. Thank you Mandy & Rob for making our short break so enjoyable despite the weather.'

'a pretty good place to stay..lovely lady running the place(on her own!,while we were there)just one -ve...its a bit noisey if you get a room on the road side..we did and we were moved,but you may not be so lucky e.g. if they were busy..love to be there on a warm summer night and sit with a drink by the river...lovely..rick'

'What a great place to stay, seven of us stayed, the hotel rooms are to a good standard and every where is very clean. The food was to a high standard and very reasonably priced. the bar area is very good if there is a large party of people, we had plenty to drink and had a great time. The owner and staff are very welcoming. The views from the hotel are great and you can really relax. I would recomend this hotel if you are staying just as a couple or as a large group.'
