'We found the Oakover to be very stylish and comfortable. We stayed in Room 1 with the beds made up to a Super King Size. plenty of room, bed very comfortable, clean & stylish decor. The mini-fridge was OK, but realy only for stopping things from getting warmern than cooling them. Bathroom, especailly the shower, was a bit of a squeeze, but neither of these detracted fom our stay. Lot's of choice for breakfast which was of excellen quality (and quantity) and quickly and pleasantly served. All in all - a very pleasant stay. The bottom line is that I'd go back to stay there in future.'

'What a fantastic guest house! Great location,about a 5-10 minute walk along the seafront to the town,and with parking available. The guest house was beautiful,very modern and clean and tidy. We had the bedroom with the feature bath within the room,a lovely touch. There was everything you could ask for in the bedroom,and their information booklet was excellent. Breakfast was lovely,with a very wide selection of foods to choose from,i had kippers two mornings running,lovely! To top it all off,the owners were lovely,so helpful and kind,even cooking me a bacon toastie to take up to my partner one morning when he didn't feel like coming down for breakfast,a thoughtful touch. 'We have been to Weston a number of times but this was our 1st stay at the Oakover Guest House. I had booked the basic room and found the price reasonable, when we arrived we were given a warm welcome and shown to our room which was very clean and tidy and had everything you need. After a few hours I decided to ask could I upgrade as I fancied a bigger room I spoke to Diane who was really helpful and showed me romm number 3...WOW what a room. I paid and extra £20 to upgrade wich was £10 per night for two of us I thought this was really reasonable, we really enjoyed our stay and the breakfast was really nice not to much just right. The whole place was lovely clean and the satff really helpful.The only negative thing was we went out for a walk and when we got back the heating was not on and the room was a little cold, not a bad point as it did soom warm up but just wanted to give an honest review. For some reason it wont let me click a star rating so I will put my rating here, I would happily recommend the Oakover and give it a **** 4 star rating.'

'I booked this guest house as a surprise weekend away for my husband and myself for his 40th birthday. We had a lovely time here in Weston and the sun was shining! 'My partner and I wanted to get away for some rest and relaxation for a few days, following a difficult couple of months, and having decided upon Somerset, we trawled TripAdvisor for some inspiration. Thankfully we found the fantastic reviews for the Oakover and were immediately attracted to the beautifully modern decor. Seeing Room 3 hosted a feature bath in the bedroom sealed the deal for us and we were certainly not disappointed. Although we only stayed for four nights, our every need was catered for. The room was gorgeous and extremely clean and tidy, with both myself and my partner enjoying the feel of thick pile carpet under our feet. The complimentary tea tray was brimming with goodies, and the bottles of water were a very welcome added extra that many other guesthouses overlook. This was one of many little 'perks' we noticed about the Oakover which other places neglect to consider:- cotton wool balls and buds in the bathroom, ironing board and umbrella in the wardrobe, shaving plug adaptor on the shelf. Obviously a lot of thought about the comfort of the guests goes into designing the rooms at the Oakover. Breakfast was scrumptious, and we particularly liked that we could order our choice in the morning to be freshly cooked rather than placing our orders the night before and hoping we wouldn't change our minds. There was more than enough choice with cereals, fruit, yoghurts, juice followed by a cooked breakfast of our choice and more than enough tea and coffee. The owners cannot do enough to make sure you're happy and were extremely polite without being overbearing or imposing. Overall, both me and my partner were extremely happy to have opted for the Oakover and loved staying in such a stylish, modern and helpful "home away from home". We would certainly recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for a b&b in Weston-Super-Mare within 10mins walking distance to the town. Fantastic!'

'Only 2 words are required to describe ALL aspects (including staff)of Oakover Guest House. These are "ABSOLUTELY LOVELY"! Not only stylish,fresh,immaculate decor, but Oakover has a car park space for each of its rooms i.e.6. How many Guest Houses in Weston does that apply? But although you get Rolls Royce service at Oakover, don't try to get a Rolls Royce sized car down the driveway. It won't fit!! Most normal cars should fit. 'This Guest House was absolutely perfect! Not far from the beach and pier, beautiful room with a big TV, comfy bed and lovely feature bath.
