'Our 5 nights at Homelea in the Kingfisher room in July were excellent; like being at a hotel but with home comforts. 'Had a two night stay at the Homelea in May, which was a handy base for day trips to Canterbury, Whistable and Howletts Zoo Park. We stayed in the School Room which is beautifully presented - a queen size bed, seating area, amazing bathroom (try the shower!) and lovely views over the sand riding school and out to the lake. The owner, Fiona, makes her guests welcome with nicely added touches such a chocolates in the room, some home-made cake (which was delicious!) and the added bonus of free internet access. Overall I would recommend this for anyone looking for some luxury in a b&b close to Canterbury.'

'Mark and Fiona are very good hosts. Nothing seems to be too much trouble. We had a large well equipped bedroom with a balcony and a lovely view of the Kent countryside.
