'We stayed at Balcony House for a long weekend and had a wonderful time. Both Brian and Mandy can't do enough to make sure you enjoy your stay. We stayed in the room with the 4 poster bed which was really cosey - gorgeous room. The house was beautifully decorated throughout and Mandy's breakfasts are to die for! We can also recommend the boat rides at lake Windermere (£7 each for the island hoping boat) and lots of lovely little coffee shops in Kendal. 5 star bed and breakfast. Michael and Danielle'

'A warm and friendly welcome on arrival after a long (and wet) day at the Westmorland Show. Balcony House is beautifully furnished, we stayed in the 4 poster bed room with balcony and lovely private bathroom.
