'I have to admit that I needed some persuading to stay in a guest house after my first experience of guest houses years ago was horrendous. However I need not have worried. We were warmly welcomed by Mandy who promptly showed us the lounge and then to our room. She provided us with plenty of information regarding the area and recommended places to eat. The room was very comfortable with a well stocked refreshments tray and the en-suite facilities were good. We had full English breakfast both mornings which was spot on and set us up for our daily adventures. The Brewery Arts Centre was the reason for our visit and this was within walking distance. We would definitely stay again and this experienced changed how I felt about guest houses. Many thanks to Mandy and Brian for making us feel so welcome :-)'

'We stayed at Balcony House for a long weekend and had a wonderful time. Both Brian and Mandy can't do enough to make sure you enjoy your stay. We stayed in the room with the 4 poster bed which was really cosey - gorgeous room. The house was beautifully decorated throughout and Mandy's breakfasts are to die for!
