It was beautifully decorated in a contemporary style and with a lot of attention to detail. The bed was huge and really comfy and the bathroom was luxurious. In addition to the room, there was a beautiful garden to sit in and complementary homemade cake. What more could you ask. All this and just a short 5min stroll down the hill to the centre of Truro. Great location combining ease of access without having to drive through the town.'

'On arrival the owner was very friendly and approachable, with a straightforward check-in process. The dining area was fabulous. Although no dinners were served, complimentary food was on tap 16 hours a day, with plenty of choice, fridge space and quality hot beverage. Breakfast was even better with a full continental buffet choice. My room was exquisite! Large sumptious bed and sockets galore for all the electronic devices. The bedroom and bathroom were fully double-glazed and even the loo had a self-closing lid!! A vast modern shower was provided with plenty of light and illuminated mirrors. An incredibly relaxing 3 days of comfort and joy.'

'We really enjoyed our stay at the Townhouse Rooms. Our room (superior double room) was beautiful, tastefully decorated and absolutely clean. The bathroom was excellent and had a pleasantly strong shower. The Townhouse definitely offers great value for money - a wonderful accommodation with good breakfast and many extras that you will not find at other B&Bs. What we particularly liked was the fact that the breakfast room can be used almost the entire day. Free cake is offered every day and you can always have a cup of tea, hot chocolate or coffee or even have a sandwich or a glass of juice. It is all included in your room rate. There is also a microwave that can be used for preparing your own meal and a fridge where guests can put their own food. In addition, there is a computer with internet access that can be used anytime and without any fee. We definitely recommend the Townhouse Rooms and hope to come back as soon as possible.'

'The Townhouse offers a home-from-home experience, and conquers the usual feeling of isolation that singles dread in other hotels. Guests engage in conversation, and the hosts nip in and out of the breakfast room and are always happy to share a chat, whilst careful not to intrude. Rooms are very well appointed, whether the four-poster ones or the sleek modern type. The owners have managed to put themselves in the guests' position in optimising all the facilities. Cleanliness is faultless. The use of the breakfast room throughout the day is a great resource, particularly when the day's freshly baked cake appears! The garden and the planters present the house at its best from the very start. If, like me, you've always been a 4* hotel person, this place is a revelation and could change your attitude overnight!'

'I have stayed in many guesthouses and hotels and the Townhouse surpassed the best of them. The check-in process was efficient, friendly and the receptionist went out of her way to inform me of local restaurants, places of note and to show me around the guest house. The room was large, clean, comfortable and quiet. I have stayed in 5* hotels that have been unable to provide an iron or WiFi, however, both of these services are available at the Townhouse. The location is perfect for visiting Truro city centre since it is a short walk down a hill passing pubs, restaurants and shops before reaching the city centre in under 10 minutes. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the Townhouse to anyone looking for a fantastic guest house in a great location. I will be staying here again on my next visit to Truro.'
