Nice and warm
5 stars 5

'Very accomodating staff, they consider early check in. The room is cozy, nice & warm. I almost fast asleep throughout the night because of the quiet environment. Plenty of English breakfast to choose from but I dont have much time to finish it. Im pretty sure that I will recomend this to my friends and I will keep coming back..'

'About what I'd expect for the price. A comfortable single room with en suite and a TV; well presented breakfast; and a friendly reception.'

'Enjoyed three days at Somerset house. Very clean and comfortable with many good additions not least a decent TV, very important when you are on your own! Also WiFi connection. Top it all with a good breakfast choice and you can't go wrong.'

Very pleasant stay.
5 stars 5

'Excellent. Our second stay at Somerset House and, no doubt, not our last. Nothing was too much trouble for Geraldine to accommodate for us, which was especially helpful when travelling away from home with a young child. Rooms clean and comfortable. Nice, friendly service over the breakfast table and great food to go with it. Highly recommended.'

Our 3 nights at Somerset House
5 stars 5

'We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Somerset House. We were shown to a lovely, large sunny room at the front and were very comfortable. Everything was well organised with excellent breakfasts. Geraldine and David, our hosts, were most professional, kind, helpful, sociable and welcoming. Grange over Sands is a delightful, charming town with plenty of pretty and interesting places nearby to see and visit. Its proximity to the Lake District is a great advantage. We were fortunate as we enjoyed beautiful summer weather. We recommend Somerset House - an excellent place to stay and centrally placed in the town.'
