'I stayed at The Kensington in a group of 4 golfers, and we all enjoyed our stay. The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is probably one of the best I have ever had at a B&B. The choice was amazing. There was the usual bacon, sausage, egg (fried, scrambled etc.) hash browns, potato cakes, black pudding, beans, fried bread, toast. But there was also a choice of numerous omelettes, home made bread, home made preserves and marmalade, lots of cereal choices and yoghurt and fruits of the forest museli which is what I had, and was delicious. I could go on, but I can't remember everything that was on offer. I can highly recommend The Kensington in Scarborough and hope to return in the near future.'

'What a lovely friendly Guest House. The bedroom (3) is a great size as was the en suite shower/toilet. There was even a seperate small room with it's own TV and tea/coffee making facilities for the use of room 3 only. Although situated on a main road there was very little noise and we slept very well in the comfy fresh bed. Breakfast was fantastic with home made fruit/ yoghurt and cereals etc but the best thing of all was owner/Chef Johns full breakfast. I like my food more than most and there was enough on my plate to see me through to the afternoon. All the ingredients were of good quality. Our stay was very enjoyable but dont want to praise too highly as we may not be able to get a room next time lol'

'We had a wonderful time at the Kensington and would recommend it for the friendliness of the proprietors,cleanliness and comfort of the rooms and first class breakfasts. Home baked fruit bread, scones and flapjack were available as well as a varied breakfast menu. First class.'
