'We stayed for two nights in May at the Ramblers Inn, and enjoyed the lovely hospitality, nice clean room, good meals, excellent service, and well suited for either walking along the hills, travelling by local train, or travelling to other local spots such as Matlock, Buxton and visiting Chatsworth Hall. Good Value will come back again.'

'A beautiful friendly pub with very friendly helpful staff who made our stay a pleasure. The room was very comfortable with a view of the hills. The food was excellent as was the range of ales.We came by train and Edale station is about 200m away . As you sit in the pub you can look up and down Hope Valley and admire the huge hills on both sides.A wonderful place as a base for trips in to the hills.'
