'What a gem of a hotel. From arriving late on Friday night - missing breakfast on Saturday morning due to an early start for Morton Morrell 20k road race - Nothing was a problem. Offered a late breakfast on my return from the run. Breakfast was a feast of a meal. So a big thank you to the owner (also a runner ;-) and gratitude to the young man who checked us in on Friday night, But a special thanks to the young lady who served us breakfast - cant fault this place. 'Ridiculously good value for money in this relaxed 'B&B-style' small hotel. Shirt ironed within minutes free of charge, comfy bed, spotless bathroom, neat little room (yes, it was a bit cosy), generous full-english breakfast, easy parking, and an offer to take us to the party. 'The adjoining rooms were perfect for us - giving everyone more privacy. The room was very clean, good beds, nice en suite. Breakfast was excellent. We were just a bit disappointed that the bar was closed on Saturday night - but we bought a bottle of wine from Essence next door! Village of Alcester is lovely with lots of good local amenities - including some great pubs.'
