'Lovely modern, well-equipped clean and spacious rooms. Great breakfast with good choice inc full english, fish and lighter options, fruit, croissants etc. David and Louise are great hosts - professional yet genuinely friendly and caring and are people you can have a laugh with - they both went above and beyond to ensure myself and my mum had a lovely holiday in Llandudno. I've stayed at the Hen-Dy several times before with my boyfriend as a young(ish!) couple in various rooms - the purple room at the front has amazing sea views with a big bay window overlooking the promenade, but all rooms are lovely. 'Hen-Dy is in an enviable position on the sea front, perfectly located for a break without having to drive anywhere. The hotel is meticulously run by David and Louise who have refurbished all the rooms to a very high standard indeed. The welcome visitors get is genuine but unfussy; the food is first-class; the rooms are spotless; the decor is tasteful throughout, ranging from chic to classic; the lounge and bar are welcoming and relaxed. 'We came for a much needed r&r and certainly got that at the Hen-Dy.there is really nothing to fault.Everywhere is spotless,welcoming and such a lovely haven to return to after a busy day out.The breakfast was delicious,the fruit bowls always topped up and the cooked breakfast very tasty and nicely presented.We did find that serving dinner at 6pm was a bit too early for us but realise for theatre goers this is ideal.We have already recommended to some friends and will continue to do so.We look forward to a return visit in the not too distant future.Thank you David and Louise!'

'Have just returned from a three night stay at this hotel. This was my third visit to Llandudno, but this was by far the best establishment I have stayed at there. Louise David, and all the staff gave everyone a warm welcome. The hotel is ideally situated for the pier, shops, beach, bus tours and the Great Orme Tramway. The food was excellent and the hotel was spotless. We had a very comfortable bedroom. David went out of his way to ensure I obtained a car parking space. 'This was the most enjoyable trip we've taken for a long time.... despite poor weather. David and Louise make you feel so at home with their easy going attitude. Never intrusive, but always there to cater for your every need. Every inch of the hotel is kept spotless - we never saw a speck of dirt anywhere. The breakfasts were magnificent, well served and always piping hot, accompanied by excellent tea or coffee (ground, not instant!) The spacious lounge was brilliant with a large TV and the same fabulous view we were enjoying from our room. the cosy bar was well stocked and comfortable. Within 24 hours we were looking forward to the next visit to this splendid hotel.This was our first visit, but we will have no hesitation in recommending it to all our friends and relations.'
