'We were made to feel welcomed as soon as we arrived. The room was excellent, comfortable and spotless. The en suite the same. Welcome tray with everything you could possibly want, including milk in a fridge on the landing and a booklet to let you know about the guesthouse, owners, area and Poppy ,the dog. Breakfast highly recomended with a choice of many options. We were greeted every morning with a cheery smile and asked of our days plans and if we needed any infomation ie buses etc. Homemade yogart, sausages and bread for the toast, butter in the shape of roses and hunny pots even the jam came from the local WI. The area was a bit of a let down with many things closed as out of season (but this was to be expected with the time of year) but Linden Lodge made an excellent base for exploring Cheddar etc. On leaving we even had a litle box of sweets for the journey. I would highly recomend Linden Lodge. Friendly. Clean, Attention to detail, Excellent food, who could ask for more. Will be back again maybe carnival time. Thank you for a perfect holiday.'

'What a delightful place to stay, Wendy and Phil were very friendly and the breakfast was everything it said on their website, especially Phil's bread. All the small details were very welcome, tea, coffee and biscuits in the room and a small fridge outside in the hall, a selection of toiletries and very warm comfortable, clean room. I would definitely recommend the Linden Lodge'

'We really enjoyed our stay here. Wendy & Phil were very friendly & helpful. We stayed in a luxury double en-suite room which was huge, clean & pleasantly decorated. The breakfast was excellent & on Sunday (Which was our 40th Anniversary) we presented with a bottle of buck fizz to celebrate. We also had an excellent meal in a Greek restaurant that Wendy had recommended. The only negative was the lack of parking, however this was managed well. Overall the stay was an excellent experience.'

'The Proprietors are very nice people, accomodation very, very clean and food excellent. They did everything possible to help our visit be a success, with local information. The only fault was our bedroom was rather small but maybe because we asked for a twin bedded room! We wold recommend it to others and would visit again.'

'Staying at Linden Lodge Guest House was a five star experience. We were very well looked after, our hosts were always on hand to go that extra mile to make our stay a memorable one, and offer all the help we needed. The breakfasts were excellent - home cooking at its best. Homemade bread for toast in the morning... how special is that!!! Our room was spotless - with extras to make the tea making facilities better than most. Many thanks indeed.'

'Please note that the name on this booking should be Linda Clarke rather than Rachel. We stayed at Linden Lodge for a 4 night family break (myself, my husband and two daughters -20 & 23)and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were made very welcome and the rooms were very comfortable and clean. The breakfasts were superb and we were particularly impressed with the amount of home made, freshly prepared food on offer. The location was ideal as it was within easy walking distance of all local amenities and a good base to drive out to more distant attractions eg Cheddar. The only drawback was the limited parking but even then our hosts were very apologetic about this.'

'Was made to feel welcome and accomodated from the moment we arrived, until the moment we left. Very pleasant owners. Room was very nice and well maintained. Breakfast was cooked brilliantly each day, and tailored to each of us. The Lodge is in a prime location, a minute away from the beach, and 5 minutes away from the Wheel/Pier/Town centre. Number of shops and restuarants also very close. Pub directly facing, but little to no noise what so ever for the entire week. Hope to go back soon.'

'Wendy and Phil were very welcoming and friendly. The room was nicely furnished and included a well stocked hospitality tray with the option of fresh milk in the fridge on the landing. The beds were comfortable and we slept very well. Breakfast was truly wonderful and freshly cooked for each person at a time of their choice. Their lovely dog was not intrusive, unfortunately we only saw her once. For those who are hesitant to book at a guest house which has a resident dog we can assure you that the dog is not in any way instrusive. We'll stay there again and reccommend the guest house to everyone.'

'It was the first time that my wife and I stayed in a B&B and we have to admit we came out with an experience that gives us the confidence to recommend the Lodge to friends and social circle. The hosts are very friendly, sociable but don't intrude into your space and are happy to help with any queries and suggestions. Their breakfast was wholesome and it has introduced us to the joys of English breakfast, which we try to replicate sometimes at home. Their butter has set a new benchmark for us in how it should be and we have to get back to them in where they source it from or how they prepared it. Thanks for making our stay a most memorable one and we'll be back.'
