'We found Bloodstock Barn on the internet when we were looking for accommodation for our visit to Sir Henry Cecil's stables and Newmarket races. Bloodstock Barns is an ideal location for this as it is a ten minute drive along quiet roads to reach the racecourse. The accommodation is excellent with all creature comforts catered for. There is a good choice for breakfast, which was freshly prepared. On our first morning we had to be at the racecourse for 8.15 am and out host was happy to provide an early cooked breakfast at 7.30 am. Ashley is a quiet village but does have a pub and an excellent bar/restaurant (The Plough) within two minutes walk of Bloodstock Barn. This was our first visit to Newmarket but I am sure that we will return and stay at Bloodstock Barn again.'

'Our 3rd stay here and yet to be disappointed, rooms are very clean and contain everything you could ever want, fresh milk in the fridge wine & Beer as well if you want,the breakfast is magnificent fresh fruit homemade yoghurt and a proper full english, it costs a little more than most but it is well worth it.'
