'We've stayed at Denehurst three times now and we can't wait to go back. We love the Lakes and Ken and Cindy are great hosts. The house and bedrooms are very nice and always clean. Their breakfast is one of the best we have had and we love it that you can choose what you like and there is no waste. They have lots of info on local walks which they will share with you and provide great advice on the restaurants. (of which there are some fab ones) We will be walking all the way there on our next visit from Yorkshire and it will be great to know our last stop will be Denehurst which will be like home from home after an 80 mile walk!! 'We simply can't rave about the Denehurst enough. Ken and Cindy are some of the most lovely people we've come across while travelling. Their advice about hikes, waterfalls, restaurants, scenic roadtrips etc was perfect and given the short amount of time we had in the lakes district, helped us maximise our time. 'I have stayed at Denehurst twice now and on both visits have been made to feel like an old friend. The guest house is immaculate yet homely with each room being individual and luxurious. Ken & Cindy are fabulous hosts and take time to ensure your stay is as good as it can be from the yummy breakfasts (of which you need to stay a week just to taste each one!!!) to recommending days out and places to visit, providing you with maps and walk sheets to help you see the best of the Lakes.
