'Stayed here for one night as part of our whistlestop West Coast tour and made to feel welcome right from the start, not to mention the free upgrade! The hotel is set in a stunning location and has its own charming bar and two dining rooms. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. In the evening we enjoyed a good value meal, with drinks in the bar afterwards where the locals were good craic! Would've been nice to stay another night or two but our itinerary demanded otherwise, but we'd love to return and would recommend to all.'

'I arrived fairly late at the hotel having booked online months before but the staff were expecting me and were friendly and welcoming. I went to the cozy bar for a typical english pub style meal which was very large and of good quality. The room was small with two single beds in very close proximity to one another but the bathroom was well equipped and modern although the shower unit (s) will need to be upgraded soon. The view from the room was breathtaking with snow capped mountains and the loch itself as well as the bridge across the loch. I had to leave early the next morning 8 am sharp but the owner made sure that breakfast was prepared early on my behalf - a nice touch. Given the small size of the room I thought the price was a little too high but apart from that my overll impressions were very favourable for a mid range hotel.'

'Stayed at the loch Leven on 30/3/12 for 2 nights with my good lady as a wee birthday treet to let her chill out and could not have chosen a better location, Scenery outstanding , food great,hilary the owner was very friendly and welcoming as were the rest of the staff. bar at night nice and cosy and can imagine the log fire in winter months being a real draw to bar visitors. All in all my wife and i had a great stay and would without doubt spread the word about this we gem. One wee point and this is in no way a complaint, HILARY !! please fix the squeaky floor boards in room 6, a we bit noisy in the middle of the night if going to the loo, am sure the local joiner could sort this in about an hour, but still a great place. 'Nice little hotel on the shores of Loch Leven. We spent the day hill walking the pap of Glencoe, only a 5 min drive from the Hotel. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by reception and shown to our room without a fuss. Soon after we headed straight for the public bar. I must say, the public bar and the outddoor deck (we had a nice day) makes this place that little bit more special. The Dinner was nice with very large portions and breakfast was cooked to perfection. There was not much else around the area, but that did not bother us at all. We were quite happy to spend the evening indoors! We would stay here again if we decided spend the night in the Fort William/Loch Leven Area again.'

'We stayed at the Loch Leven for one night in September. The staff was fantastic and very patient through what turned out to be a complicated reservation process due to issues on our end. We were greeted warmly and shown to our room, and were served a nice dinner in the pub with friendly service. Our 3-year-old daughter was made to feel very welcome. Our only complaint is that the bathroom, while spacious and clean, had very little flat space for our toiletry supplies.'

'We stayed here so we could do Ben Nevis the next day, and I have to say this was a great stop off. Ok, there was a loose tile in the en suite bathroom, but the room was superb, the staff were very very friendly as was the welcome, the food was excellent as was the view out of the dining room window. There was even good bottled beer from a local brewery. It was an excellent place and I'd definitely aim to stop there again when in the area, and reccommend anyone else to do so too!'
