'I found the hotel to be clean, tidy and the room was spacious. The breakfast was lovely each morning. It felt cosy and quiet, which suited me. One moan, the hot water was a little tempermental, other than that it was a good stay. I would recommend this hotel.'

'We stayed in fountain court hotel 10th December 2011 and was plesently suprised. As a young couple sometimes the other reviews can put you off, a lot of them said old fashioned, creaky floorboards etc and this was a little worrying but there was no need! It was a lovely very comfortable hotel with the friendliest welcome! The family that run it couldnt have done more for us. I can't comment on breakfast as we weren't up in time however the lady on reception- can't remember her name was more than ok when we told her that we probably wouldn't make it down. She even allowed us a late check out with no extra cost as she had no one booked in after us which was such a kind gesture. I would definately recommend this hotel and would almost certainly stay here again if i was in the area either on my own or travelling in a couple. The decor is old fashioned but very homely, everything you need is accomodated for, the bathroom was completely spotless,the bed was comfortable and the bed linen was crisp clean. Was made to feel very welcome. Definately recommend!!'

'Perfect location if you're staying in Birmingham and planning on visiting Broad Steet, the ICC, NIA or other locations. The hotel itself had all you needed - decent sized room, comfortable bed, ensuite bathroom and a decent breakfast the morning after. There was a warm welcome when arriving, which mirrored the family-run atmosphere in the hotel. Great character to the reception, lounge, sitting room and bedroom - may not be everyone's cup of tea but a welcome difference to the sterile repetitive rooms you get with most chains. Would definitely stay again as £59 was great value for money!!'

'I stayed at the Fountain Court Hotel with my husband for one night over the weekend whilst visiting family. It was good value for money with a full breakfast included. It was a basic room, but clean and comfortable and what you would expect for the price and the star rating. The staff were friendly and breakfast was very nice. The only downside was the noise of the traffic outside which did keep us awake.'
