recommended!
4 stars 4

'We stayed three nights here and it was a very pleasant stay. The location is ideal - plenty of car parking, handy for the A14 and for the pretty Suffolk countryside and villages. There are good eateries nearby - Knapps and the Highwayman. Our bedroom was very comfortable and supplied all we required. The bacon and egg breakfast was the best we have ever tasted! A great stay and a friendly we;come!'

Excellent choice!
5 stars 5

'We stayed one night in Hungercut Hall and were extremely happy about our choice. Room was excellent, surrounding neighborhood lovely countryside and owners very friendly, understanding and flexible. Only thing we regret is that due to the early morning wake up we did not have an opportunity to eat full English breakfast that showed mouth-watering in the menu. Maybe next time...'

Good B&B
4 stars 4

'A very relaxing & welcoming B&B. Jackie & her husband went out of their way to make my stay comfortable, even to going out & buying a new duvet when I said that I was too warm! Highly recommended.'

B&B stay of 4 nights
4 stars 4

'Hungercut Hall met our needs beautifully. It was just outside of Ipswich to not have to worry about all the hustle and bustle but central enough to allow us to travel all the areas of Suffolk and Norfolk that we needed to. Breakfasts were great and filling and there was no problem when we missed the breakfast due to jet lag. The same beautiful breakfast appeared. Room was great and we were able to open the windows. Initially we thought the adjacent A-road would be a problem with noise but the due to the location of the room we never heard it and it quietened down at night anyway. Local pubs were within a short drive so a car is really needed.'

Rural Retreat
5 stars 5

'Do not use a sat nav postcode only to find this unique B&B - check out google map or similar. A lovely old cottage with all mod cons. Lovely hospitable, amiable owner. Clean room, comfy, roomy. Good breakfast. Everything you would wish for every time. Well worth the money.'

May overnight Stay
5 stars 5

'Exceptionally beautiful place to stay. The interior is a dream and very comfortable. Don't be put off by the proximity of the Hall to the main road as this is not apparent inside nor intrusive outdoors. Lovely warm welcome and fabulous food.'

Very Comfortable

'The B&B is very close to the A14 road, and this was initially a bit off-putting; but actually it wasn't an issue. The room was large and very comfortable and the breakfasts excellent. I would recommend this establishment.'

Our home from home
5 stars 5

'I would recommend Hungercut Hall B&B to others. Having used the facilities by myself in the summer and later with my husband in the winter, the rooms are warm and comfortable. I was also able to take my dog and was allowed to have her in the room with me -- she is very quiet so would not disturb other guests. To wake up early in the morning and walk straight out to the countryside along well marked bridle paths is lovely. Breakfasts are lovely and generous helpings!'
