'What a refreshing surprise this hotel proved to be and the trip advisor comments were spot on. From our initial welcome until the moment we left we found the service to be warm, friendly and very efficient. Our room was, as requested, in a quiet location and very cosy as were the public seating areas in the bar and lounge. A gluten free breakfast had been requested and the hotel had taken the trouble to buy in the required bread and sausages to ensure a full English service was available. Our dinner was also excellent. We would return on our next visit to Chester and this hotel would always be chosen in preference to the larger 'chain hotels'.'

'wow what a hotel.stayed here three nights 16th-19th oct.if you need a hotel in chester,this is the only one you need to book.great staff lovely food,the curry was out of this world.10 minute walk in to city centre,15 to train station fab location.bar prices well priced.i am going to tell all my friends to go here if in chester.a great hotel am going to book up again nextyear.thank you very much for lovely break.brookie the cat made it as well thanks again'
