'As far as a welcome and friendly Inn is concerned, it can't be beaten. Fantastic service, fab place to stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Personally struggled a bit with the beds being a so hard because I have a bad back at the moment, but that is really being picky - lovely people, long time since I have been anywhere I have been treated so well. 'When Adam and I drove into the Village and spotted the Dolphin Inn ahead of us, we new we were in safe hands, it is kept to a high standard and looked very christmasy from outside. Once we stepped into the bar area, we were greated by a charming member of staff who new exactly who we were and showed us to our room. The room looks far better then it does in the picture. We had a three course meal at dinner time in the bar which was Fantastic, and I am a food snob,the food was free perfect in proportions, just divine! I will recommend to all my friends and family to stay here and sample the food. Out standing :) The staff were all very cheerful and fantastic service. I knew the breakfast would be equally good, and I was right. First class. We will be back. Excellent selection of ales and cider also.'

'Very welcoming staff - especially considering we had an infant and toddler in the pub for supper on an early Saturday evening. Good food and drinks menu and we were well looked after when dining with (adult) guests. Super accommodation - spacious enough for cot bed and pull-out bed to make a family room - very clean and comfortable. Great value overall; wouldn't hesitate to return.'
