'Arrived on Fri after a long journey, & was greeted at the door, offered refreshments and helped with the luggage. A most encouraging start to our stay. The rooms were comfortable, clean & well equipped, the food was fantastic (try the buttermilk pancakes & maple syrup) and the owners were so helpful and friendly. Would certainly return there if we are in that area again.'

'I have come to Abbey guest house many times, and like to come back. Staying is very pleasant and flexible. No problem with internet access or parking. Work space in the rooms is a bit limited, but works for a few days. Really good breakfast selection.'

'We have just returned from a fantastic three night break at the Abbey Guest House. We honestly cannot fault our stay in any way. We were greeted by the friendly and helpful owner, and with a lovely cup of tea! The owners were helful in advising us on things to do and places to eat. There recommendations were spot on! The room was very comfortable, impecably clean, with nice added touches such as tea/ coffee facilities. The breakfast was fantastic! A very well run guest house. Would not hesitate to recommend! Thanks!'

Abbey Guest House is A1
5 stars 5

'Abbey Guest House is very centrally situated for everything in Kenilworth. The rooms are very well presented and your host is helpful in every respect. Parking is surprisingly easy too. There are many restaurants within easy walking distance from le Bosquet at the top end to the fish and chip shop round the corner which I understand came about fourth in the UK in a recent survey. Many shops are along Warwck Road including my favourite J A Moore (gents clothes). The actual High Street is in the old part of Kenilworth which has no shops to speak of but it does have some interesting buildings and a free car park (if you have taken the car)near to the traffic lights. At the far end of the street you will find Little Virginia which is a fairly modern take on country cottages and the castle is a little further. There are two theatres in both amateur but of a very high standard, the best is probably The Talisman, near to the guest house. Finally Kenilworth is ideally placed for trips to Coventry, Leamington Spa and Stratford-upon-Avon. Best visited on the bus perhaps to save problems with car parking and money, if like me you have a free bus pass.'
