'A good warm welcome and very flexible to accommodate an early breakfast. Wifi available but room not conducive to working with a laptop. Room was warm, comfortable and so clean, it sparkled. Great value for money. Great beer in village pubs but food dissapointed; I recommend 3 to 4 mile journey for a reasonably good evening meal. Would definately use/book again. 4/5 for evening work & local amenities but 5/5 for Guest House experience.'

'After placing a pin in the map for a weekend away we decided on Lincoln and after a quick look at Tripadvisor we chose the Carnforth Guest House as our base for a few nights away. Location of Carnforth is great for visiting Lincoln and Lincolnshire, handily located for a quick bus ride into Lincoln and equally far enough outside not to be caught up in the city traffic and a quick getaway to the Lincolnshire countryside. A number of local pubs to eat out in the evening within walking distance. The home was well kept and the rooms nicely presented with a warm welcome and a great breakfast, Christine & Howard being excellent hosts. Easy to recommend and we wouldn't hesitate to stop here again if visiting Lincoln again.'
