'We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Burn How Hotel. The only thing we think could be improved on is the pressure of the shower - while the water was nice and hot, the pressure want not nearly good enough to have a decent shower. The other small thing would be to put tissues into the rooms for guests. Other than these two things, the room was comfortable and the meals were very good and we especially enjoyed our New Year's Eve dinner and entertainment. Kind regards, Carme and Len'

'We love the Lake District and wanted a lovely hotel to celebrate our Ruby Wedding Anniversary, and Burn How Hotel did not disappoint. The garden chalet room with its views over the garden was both spacious comfortable and peaceful and spotlessly clean. There was a wonderful selection on the menu for breakfast, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Also the hotel was very well situated within a few minutes walk to the lakeside or the town centre in Bowness. 'We spent 3 nights at the Burn How Hotel. The room was spacious and overlooked the Rose Garden. The staff were professional, friendly and very helpful. The breakfast menu was excellent and the dinner was well presented and delicious. The only reason why this is not rated 5 star was the general decor could be slightly updated (less the curtains) in particular wardrobes. In addition the water pressure in the shower was insufficient, however there was an abundance of hot water. In conclusion I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and should the opportunity arise would stay here again.'
