'An excellent B&B located in quite surroundings near a bus stop from which it's easy to get to the city center in about 10 minutes. The hosts are very kind and complaisant. The room and the whole house is unimpeachably clean. In the room you have a comfortable bed, flatscreen-tv, wi-fi, kettle (tea, coffee, chocolate and bisquits), shower and wc. The included breakfast is fresh and well-cooked with a wide range of courses to choose between. Overall I find this accomodation superb. I can't believe there is a better B&B than Autumn House i Cambridge. I highly recommend it and will surely return if I visit the area.'

'We found the Autumn House experience exceptionally good from the initial friendly welcome, through local travel and restaurant advice to a final farewell. The deluxe room we stayed in was modern in decor without being flamboyant; was comfortable and equipped with all mod cons for internet access, television etc. There was a lovely well fitted en-suite bathroom. The menu selection at breakfast was more than adequate and appeals to both the carnivore and vegetarian. The whole place was exceptionally clean, tidy, quiet and private. If one does not wish to travel by car there is a bus stop close by although it is recommended to walk in to Cambridge alongside the River Cam, something we did daily. We would not hesitate to stay there again when re-visiting Cambridge.'

'This B&B is an absolute gem. My wife and I stopped here for 6 nights at the Beginning of August 2011. The B&B is owned by Sharon & Al. On arrival we were welcomed by Al and offered tea and biscuits. Whilst having the refreshments Al gave us details of places we could find good evening meals as well as giving us details of how to walk or ride into town. The bus stop is just down the road and goes into the town centre. The walk into town by the river is easy. The room was en suite with toilet, wash basin and shower only. No bath. A kettle is provided with various drink options. A remote control flat screen TV was also installed in the room. Room decor is very good. Sharon produced and excellent breakfast with a good choice on the menu. You will start the day with a full belly here. Cleanliness. This B&B is clean. It gleams. In my life I have stayed in many places. I can honestly say that this B&B is 5*. You may think it is too good to be true. No way. Just read the other reviews. Book now and enjoy. Will come back'

Great breakfast, only bacon a bit salty for our 'french' taste. Excellent Indian restaurant 500 meters away, Cambridge colleges at 30 minutes of a leisure walk mainly alongside the river. 'We stayed at Autumn house for 2 nights while visiting Cambridge. It is a newly renovated b+b and it shows in the cleanliness and attention to detail. Our room was just what we needed - comy bed, very clean and decent sized bathroom. A little road noise was the only downside to an otherwise enjoyable and restful stay. It was a great location to get into Cambridge easily - a 2 min walk to the bus stop and buses come every 10min taking us to the centre of town. This was ideal rather than trying to drive or pay more expensive places in the actual town itself. My partner and I would definitely stay here again if we were ever to visit Cambridge again. Both the owners were welcoming and helpful - oh and breakfast was excellent too! a lovely variety of fruit, cereal, salmon, eggs, pancakes etc. Overall a good value for money b+b definitely recommend to anyone wanting a short trip to Cambridge.'
