The family run Balavil Hotel extends a warm Highland welcome to all guests. The interior consists of open fires, wood panelled bar and a warm and friendly Scottish atmosphere.The Balavil has 50 en suite bedrooms which are comfortable and well decorated creating a home from home atmosphere. (Due to unforeseen circumstances outwith our control, please be advised that the swimming pool at the Balavil Hotel will be temporarily closed until further notice. The Balavil Sport Hotel sits in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, one of the most breathtaking natural landscapes in Scotland. Situated in the cosy Highland village of Newtonmore, the hotel is over one hundred years old and is very much in keeping with the local area.
