Situated in the centre of Uppingham, a pretty market town, the Lake Isle is just 4 miles from Rutland Water and 6 miles from Oakham. Leicester city centre, Peterborough and the M1 motorway are all within 30 miles. All rooms at the Lake Isle Hotel have a private bathroom with a power shower, and some feature whirlpool baths. Each room is individually decorated and many look out over the scenic courtyard. The 2 AA-Rosette Lake Isle Restaurant offers a creative menu and over 200 wines.
