The Birchwood Hotel and Restaurant - Description

Enclosed by woodland and garden, the Birchwood Hotel provides quiet seclusion in a country-house atmosphere only minutes from the centre of Pitlochry, an ideal holiday location at the heart of Perthshire and Scotland. Since taking over in 1997 Viv and John have each winter undertaken a programme of upgrading, refurbishing and redecoration which will continue....until we start all over again! All bedrooms have colour-co-ordinated linen, curtains and bedding. Naturally there is TV, self-dial telephone and hospitality tray. For those not-so-warm spring or autumn nights all beds have electric blankets. You will spend some of your most rewarding Birchwood hours in the restaurant. During the long summer evenings the garden provides a soothing, colourful backdrop, occasionally enlivened by a visit from a deer, or red squirrels inhabiting the adjoining woodland.
