The current house dates from 1898 and served as a hospital during the First World War, later becoming a private school. Today, it’s one of England’s most comfortable and characterful country house hotels. There are 112 bedrooms, all luxuriously furnished and decorated. Many have stunning views of the grounds and some have four-poster beds and spa baths, making them perfect for a romantic weekend.
