'The hotel is conveniently placed in the centre of Dorking with plenty of parking. The main building is quaint olde world with many original features such as beams etc and a pleasant atmosphere. The staff were all extremrly friendly and helpful and breakfast was excellent with a full buffet coupled with the opportunity to order specials from the kitchen. The bedroom was clean and airy and the bed was extremely comfortable. On the down side the hand-towel had a stain on it, the bath mat was badly frayed, the shower head was thick with limescale, there was no loo brush and the window frame had black mould on it. Each in themwelves perhaps minor points but collectively let down the overall impression and consequently our scoring'
