Owned since 1999 by Grant Douglas, this traditional North York Moors inn near Whitby with its timber beamed bars and open fire has a warm and friendly atmosphere in which to eat, drink and relax. Enjoy bed and breakfast accommodation at the Duke of Wellington, an ideal base for exploring North Yorkshire, the North York Moors, Whitby and the coast. There are nine ensuite bedrooms � each with its own individual character and d�cor � and they are all centrally heated and equipped with tea/coffee making facilities and LCD flat screen televisions. Several of the rooms enjoy fine views of Danby Dale and the surrounding moorland.
