Woolpack Inn - Description

The Woolpack is a 15th century inn with a wealth of oak beams, a vast inglenook fireplace in the bar plus an excellent local reputation. We have 14 spacious bedrooms, all with colour televisions with teletext, beverage trays, radio alarm clocks, desk/work areas, direct dial telephone complete with modem points. For something that little bit special a four poster bedroom with corner bath or how about our Honeymoon Suite - the ultimate in romance. The restaurant offers excellent food using the finest local produce. With a wide range of seasonal specials, classic dishes and vegetarian options it is a culinary experience, which has been praised by national newspaper food writers as well as travel journalists.
