'Visited for a weekend break Fri/Sat beginning of June 2010 Room was tidy and clean but squeaking bed and a delaminating wooden toilet seat in the en-suite was off-puting some nice touches in the room altho a little dated. Had a meal there first evening. Having ordered took 20 mins for the staff to inform us that one meal was no longer available and my wife's salad was served on a very hot plate! The food was however fine. The hotel was full at the time and at breakfast the staff although friendly and helpful could not cope with numbers I suspect because only one waitress was serving and clearing 9 tables.It lacked organisation although breakfast itself was fine. On the 2 mornings we ate breakfast there was a lack of plates, cereal bowls, cups, milk etc and repeated requests had to be made for them to be supplied. When the Hotel is full there needs to be better organisation.Staff were friendly and everything in the room worked. Also lovely rear garden to sit in'
