'The standard of the hotel is very mediocre and the quality of the breakfast very poor. Cheap yoghurt, uninspired cereals and cheap sliced bread for the toast. Excellent staff in the dining room but the kitchen was not keeping up with demand. Judging by the clamour for breakfast at 9.45 on Sunday morning the hours could be extended. Generally tatty decor, anonymous toiletries in the shabby bathroom, and fittings in need of replacement. The whole hotel experience was rather seedy.
