The Cumberland Hotel offers you a warm welcome deep in the heart of the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our comfortable rooms were fully refurbished in 2006, and all offer en-suite bathrooms, hairdryers, colour television and tea and coffee making facilities. The five bedrooms that we have comprise three double rooms and two twins, three of these are classified as 'family rooms', with extra single beds. When it comes to food and drink, we concentrate on doing the simple things well. Bar meals are prepared with locally sourced ingredients where possible. Our increasingly popular food is enjoyed by visitors and locals alike. We can cater for parties and special occasions with a special four course meal, or more simply a snack for two when you haven't the energy to cook for yourself.
