The George - Description

The George Hotel, situated in the village of Pangbourne, on the Thames Walking Path, and a short distance to Oxford, Windsor and London & just 15 minutes drive from Reading town centre and the M4. Formerly a 17th Century coaching inn, with traditional characteristics, it is also home to the spectre of a witch named Betty Price. The George Hotel has been transformed; all of its 23 en-suite bedrooms have been sympathetically refurbished together with its bars; restaurant and function room. The hotel provides accommodation with traditional characteristics, food and wines are the pride of the oak-beamed restaurant. Children are most welcome and there are even specially designed bedrooms available.
