Woodlands Lodge Hotel - Description

The Woodlands Lodge Hotel is set on 3 acres of grounds that open directly onto The New Forest. With its own restaurant the majority of bedrooms have whirlpool baths. Most rooms in this Georgian house have views of the forest, and those on the first floor have conservatories. All feature free Wi-Fi, TVs, an iPod dock alarm clock and have private bathrooms with showers. The former Victorian music room houses Bentleys Restaurant, which serves fine cuisine with an emphasis on fresh local produce. Local venison and fresh fish are house specialties. There are many walking paths through the New Forest, where wild horses and ponies can often be seen. Southampton is just a 15-minute drive away and there are several golf courses nearby.
