Briar Barn is a self-contained, converted barn situated next to Auchterawe Country House. In an idyllic location within Auchterawe Forest, it is just 10 minutes’ drive from the famous Loch Ness. The barn has its own entrance, and boasts numerous period features such as exposed stonework, beamed ceilings, and a fireplace in the spacious lounge. Briar Barn offers Sky TV with a DVD/CD player, hairdryers, and tea and coffee facilities. The private, fully tiled bathroom also includes a heated towel rail for guests. Surrounded by stunning Highland scenery, guests can enjoy numerous scenic walks nearby, as well as activities including animal trails, mountain climbing and horse riding. The village of Fort Augustus is 5 minutes' drive away, and watersports are available at the nearby Loch Ness.
