'we visited Highmarsh side over the weekend of 06/05/2011. This is a perfect time to visit the Lake District.The scenery out standing new born lambs, water falls and lush greenery. High Marsh side offers a tranquil and peacefull setting to escape for a well earned break. The decor and furnishings are of a high high standard. The steam room is a real treat the perfect tonic needed after long hikes in the Lake District. We were welcomed into our room with a bottle of wine, fresh fruit ,home made muffins and fresh milk in the fridge for that essential cup of tea after along journey. Letita and Haydon were the perfect hosts and nothing was to much trouble. we certainly felt that High Marsh Side offered excellent value for money and we will be visiting again .'
