Royal Britannia Hotel - Description

Located in the pictureque Devonshire town of Illfracombe is the Royal Britannia Hotel. Totally refurbished in 2010, the hotel overlooks the harbour and offers a restaurant and en suite rooms. Former notable guests of the hotel incude Lord Admiral Nelson and King Edward VII. Rooms at the Royal Britannia feature TVs and tea/coffee making facilities, whilst some have sea views and jacuzzi baths. The large restaurant has exposed wooden beams and serves English and international cuisine. There is a sea-food menu featuring the fresh catch from Illfracombe harbour. The bar area serves a wide range of drinks and light snacks throughout the day, including Devonshire cream teas.
