Sunshine Cottage is an 18th-century building with original beamed rooms, in the ancient village of Newbold Verdon. Bedrooms each have a digital TV and there is free Wi-Fi and free parking. Both rooms at this charming bed and breakfast have a private bathroom, and are decorated in an English cottage style. Each room has a fireplace, tea/coffee facilities and a seating area. Breakfast is served to guests in the kitchen, which features a traditional Aga cooker and views of the peaceful garden. Despite being in the heart of the midlands countryside, Sunshine Cottage is only a 10-minute drive from the M1 motorway. The shops and night life of Leicester can be reached in 20 minutes by car.
