This elegant, Grade II Listed Georgian country house is situated in the Lake District village of Holmrook. It offers elegant rooms with views over Muncaster Fell, and homemade cake or biscuits. Rooms at Carleton Green also come with a flat-screen TV and ironing facilities (on request). The en suite bathrooms have fluffy bathrobes and towels. Breakfast is served each morning in the dining room. Food is homemade and sourced locally, and made from high-quality Fairtrade products. Carleton Green is set within an acre of private gardens, just 5 minutes’ drive from the sea. It is an ideal base from which to explore the mountains and scenery of the Lake District.
