With original oak beams and stone walls, this charming 17th-century Inn is set in the scenic Lincolnshire village of Oasby. It offers a traditional restaurant, a bar serving real ales and free Wi-Fi. Rooms at The Houblon Inn burst with individual character, and each feature a flat-screen TV, iPod dock and free tea and coffee. Every bathroom has fluffy towels and a hairdryer. The hotel restaurant uses freshly prepared quality ingredients, including herbs from their own garden. Guests can eat or play boules in the garden, or enjoy a drink by the fire in the relaxed bar. Three of Lincolnshire’s grand stately homes, Belton House, Belvoir Castle and Grimsthorpe Castle, are 30 minutes away by car.
