The check in lady was eastern European and had a pleasent and welcoming smile and attitude. The food in the 'pub' was excellent as was the Speckled Hen Beer. Price was reasonable for both and the meal size was very good. I was really impressed with the hotel which was only £40.00 for the night. I asked for a quiet room and that is exactly what I got. The room was a decent size with a comfortable double bed. The shower was great and the TV picture and screen was great.'
