The Castle and Ball - Description

The Castle & Ball is at the centre of what is reputed to be Britain's widest High Street. Marborough is a town steeped in history andsince the 15th Century an inn has stood on this site. Some of the surviving original oak timbers at the hotel pre-date theSpanish Armada. The age of the building accounts for the individual nature of each of the 32 newly refurbished bedrooms and for the split level design of the restaurant, but no compromise is made inproviding everything the guest of today requires. A wide range ofexcellent wines is available whilst the brand new Brasserie offersa wide ranging menu, offering something to even the mostdiscerning diner. The 32 well appointed bedrooms are all comfortably furnished and individual in design, and reflecting the historic nature of the hotel.
