Moffat House Hotel - Description

Built in the 1750's it is a smaller replica of the famous Hopetoun House in Edinburgh. Originally built for the Earl of Hopetoun, the charm and elegance has been retained through careful modernisation. Passing between the old sandstone pillars and up the beautiful cantilevered staircase, Moffat House has 20 bedrooms, all en-suite. Each room is tastefully decorated with its own style and character from superb four poster and king size bedrooms to family rooms and specially adapted ground floor disabled rooms. The cuisine at Moffat house is quite simply first rate and awards are being gathered every year.
