The kitchen in the room is a great idea for a cheap stay where you maybe cant afford to eat out. There is a warm,relaxed atmosphere and the food is excellent. All the staff were very helpful and always had a smile on their face. If you are staying for longer than one night then the room needed some drawers/dressing table and perhaps some more practical bedside cabinets. We both thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay and it was a pleasure to return to the hotel in the evening to sample some of the excellent beers and lagers in the bar before enjoying an evening meal either in the restaurant area or in the bar area. My wife says the west country fillet steak was probably the best steak she has ever had!'
